FAQs:
Chiropractic
What
is Chiropractic?
Similar to osteopathy but chiropractic concentrates
on re-aligning spinal vertebrae to relieve all
sorts of symptoms. Attention is concentrated
here because it is the main connective centre
for the nervous system. Pressure, strain or tension
upon the spinal cord caused by segments of the
vertebral column being out of place affect nerve
transmission and can result in an unheathy state
in the organs of the body controlled by the nerves
in question. X-rays are often used in diagnosis
and it is often complimentary with other therapies.
What
disorders does it help treat?
In general the following diseases may respond well:- neuritis, neuralgia, sciatica,
rhematic and arthritic conditions, migraine headaches, blood pressure, both
high and low, and spinal lessions associated with muscular pain.
